Photo Contest
Two Categories: People/Moments and Landscapes/Cityscapes
We are looking for photos that capture a moment and tell a great story about your exchange or hosting experience. It could be a student and host family enjoying an everyday event, a local celebration or perhaps a trip. It could be a city or landscape that captures the essences of host country. Internatonal Students may also send pictures from their home country showing an interesting event or place that will showcases their home country and culture. These are just a few of the possibilities. Your pictures should tell us a story about those unpredictable, yet memorable moments during your exchange or a picture that represents your exchange adventure. Take a moment, think about the incredible moments of your exchange, and look through your pictures to find the ones that capture those moments and memories. For photographs with people, preference will be given to photos that capture close-up facial expressions and emotions.
YFU USA staff will judge eligible photographs for quality, color, image, clarity, aesthetic properties, and relevance to portrayal of international exchange. Five finalists in each category will have their photographs or stories featured online at www.yfu-usa.org. YFU USA invites visitors to the web site to vote for prize-winning entries.
