In July YFU was featured on Fox 17 West Michigan News about the organization and what it is like to host a foreign exchange student. Assistant Field Director Nicholas Paauwe was joined by host parents and volunteers, Kelly and Casey Bailey.
In September, YFU was featured on NPR’S WKAR East Lansing radio station. Field Director Deb Fry, local host mom Linda Uncapher, and her YFU German exchange son Fabian Heinig appeared on the morning show “Current State.”
In last Septembers issue of OPUS, an online magazine run by YFU Sweden, featured Connie Nesbary and her return to Sweden! She studied abroad there through YFU in 1972 and recently got the chance to go back and visit.
