Community College Program

Community colleges in the US are 2-year schools for post-secondary education that serve as a pathway for university study. For more than 20 years, the Community College Program has welcomed YFU's young adult participants to pursue a mix of English as a Second Language and academic coursework for a semester, a year, or a two-year Associate Degree at our partner community colleges. Students have opportunity live with a host family or live amongst other college students in the dorm. Once you complete a two-year program at a community college, many students transfer to a four-year university where they can complete their Bachelor’s Degree.

Short Term Culture and Language Program (18+)

This July, travel to Washington, DC and join fellow participants 18 and older from around the world for a two-week program in the nation’s capital! For English language beginners, this is an opportunity to further build and perfect your written and conversational skills.
