Local Coordinator Incentives

Embrace the Excitement of Cultural Exchange!

At our core, we truly value the unwavering commitment, dedication, and relentless enthusiasm that every Local Coordinator (LC) brings to the world of cultural exchange. We’re thrilled to grow alongside you and explore the talents, diverse cultures, and captivating places you bring to our community!

This year’s program will run from September 2024 – August 31st, 2025. Field events and placements must occur within this date range to be eligible for the rewards.

We are currently reworking our incentive program to include more swag and earning opportunities and switching to a point system to redeem for different items. The anticipated release is in early December. Please continue to submit your events and recruit host families for points that will be distributed once we have finished our revisions to the program.

Thank you for all you do to support YFU programs!

LC Incentive Program Guidelines

We want to make our LC Incentive Program crystal clear so you can take full advantage of the opportunities it offers. Here are the essential rules and stipulations to keep in mind:

  1. Placement Tracking: We track placements when the student is placed on ‘Placement Pending’ status. Whether with a former host family or a new YFU family, every placement counts towards your rewards. Prizes for placements will be shipped AFTER the placement(s) become permanent.

  2. Eligible Activities: To qualify for the program, the LC must plan and manage field events and school presentations. Attending or working at events organized by your Community Manager will not count. Additionally, you need to log any leads gathered during these events in the my.YFU system for tracking.

  3. Event Registration: If you need us to cover a registration fee for an event, it must be approved by a Director at least two weeks before the event. You can request this approval using this form.

  4. Marketing Materials: To ensure you have the necessary marketing materials, please make your request at least two weeks before the event. You can request your materials here. If you don’t have two weeks’ notice for your event (and to save on shipping costs), please review the printable materials in the LC E-Kit.

  5. Logging Field Events: After each event worked, please log it using the form provided on this page. Remember to include photo proof to support your claim.

What Counts as a Field Event:

  • School presentations in class, assembly, or after-school events.

  • Rented tables/booths at fairs, conferences, and community events.

  • Promotional tables at school events or during lunch periods.

We’re excited to see your enthusiastic participation in the LC Incentive Program while maintaining a professional approach. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your dedication is greatly appreciated!
