Become a YFU Study Abroad Volunteer Scholarship Evaluator

YFU, an intercultural exchange program, is seeking volunteers for our 2016 study abroad program activities. YFU offers more than 200 merit-based scholarships each year.  Our volunteers read and evaluate each student’s application- a series of essays and teacher recommendations- to help us select scholarship winners for study abroad programs. Scholarship evaluating is fun, easy and a great opportunity meet other internationally minded folks in the DC area.

 YFU Will Host a Scholarship Application Reading Day at our Headquarters on Saturday January 30, 2016.

• 10:30 AM: Welcome 
• 10:45 AM: Training
• 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM: Reading Round 1 
• 12:15 PM: Lunch provided 
• 12:35 PM – 2 PM: Reading Round 2 

YFU Headquarters is located at 641 S Street, NW, Washington, DC (1 block from Shaw Metro). Parking is available nearby.
