Garcia is a Principal at MagnaVita Consulting which targets nonprofits and companies whose values, mission, and business models aim to improve their communities through their activities. Through its philosophy - A Better Way. A Better Life, MagnaVita works to enhance these socially-driven players' brands, marketing strategies, and overall stories. Until recently, Garcia served as Senior Vice President of External Affairs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), overseeing branding, marketing and communications, and development for an organization that forges a critical pathway to educate, empower, and connect future Latino leaders in the United States, creating a transformative and lasting Impact on Latino youth and the nation. Prior to her work at CHCI, Garcia was Director of the American Society of Landscape Architects; and Director, Latin America, for Cotton Council International. Garcia holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service, both from Georgetown University.
